Time to Start

We decided it is time for us to set up a blog. We have so many friends in so many places, we figured this would be the best way to keep in touch. Things are going pretty well for us. A really likes his job at Omniture. He gets along great with his coworkers, and the company treats their employees awesome.

They go all out for Halloween. Each department is given a budget and is required to decorate their areas. Then in the afternoon, the families of the employees come in to trick or treat. D had a blast. His trick-or-treat bucket was overflowing.

The executive offices did a Disneyland theme. They even flew Mickey and Minnie in from LA.

D had a lot of fun. S wasn't so sure of things. He didn't like the mane from his lion costume near his face.

We went to Boise for Thanksgiving. Christy's parents moved there this summer. While we were there, D decided it was time to be potty trained!! Since then, he has not had any poopy accidents. He has wet his underwear a few times, but he is getting better.

S is basically walking. He hasn't figured out how to stand up with out support yet. So if he falls, he has to crawl to the couch or something and start over again. Also, he is still faster crawling, so if he wants to chase his brother down the hall, or run from Daddy's tickling, he crawls.

We are all excited about the Christmas season. Tomorrow we will get our tree and put it up. D has gone through the Toys-R-Us catalog and picked all the toys he wants. (At least one on each page). He has even prayed for Santa. Thankfully, he is also learning about the birth of the Savior. He found one of our movies of the nativity the other day and asked if it was a Christmas movie. He knew the baby was Jesus and that Christmas is when we celebrate His birthday.

Well, now that we started our blog, we will be able to keep you updated. Our plan is to do at least one post a week. Then we'll go from there.
