Thanksgiving Point Gardens

Yesterday, a friend and I took our kids to the gardens At Thanksgiving Point. We went to the main gardens first, then onto the Childrens Discovery Gardens. We had a lot of fun. The kids had a great time running around and using up energy. Here are some pictures.

D and Logan found a great hill to roll down.

S loved playing in whatever water he could find. Here it is a small little puddle on a slab of concrete

At lunch time, we found a nice table under a shady tree. We sat down and started getting our food out, only to be swarmed by a ton of bees. We looked under the table, and found this. We switched tables very quickly. (Yes that is a hive in the corner there.)

These last pictures are just me having fun playing with my camera. I think these shots looked pretty good.
