Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone had a great new year celebration and is ready for the coming year. We did our normal celebration. We stayed home and watched movies till midnight. This year we decided to let D stay up as long as he could. We put S in bed at normal time (8:00) and put D in his PJs. We figured he wouldn't make it past 10. He started to fight his exhaustion. He was in and out of the bathroom, up and down off the couch, making faces and he wouldn't stop talking.

We finally got him to settle down and relax. He did that head nod thing for a while where he would start to fall asleep then wake himself up. The poor boy finally crashed at 11:45. He was so close, but he just couldn't make it to the very end.
