Grandma and Grandpa read the Nativity story to the younger grandchildren. D was interested in the motorcycle he has in his hand for most of the story.

Santa (A's dad) visits the younger kids.
One of Santa's helpers.
S wasn't too sure about what was going on. He just wanted to go play. He did like playing with the wrapping paper though.
This was D's favorite gift. A Spider man cape on one side and a Jedi knight cape on the other. He hasn't taken it off since he got it except to sleep.
This is princess Avery. She is one of D and S's cousins.D and S have cousins of all ages. Some have graduated from high school and are in college. Others are just a little older then they are. When the younger cousins got there, they were very excited. S got tons of attention because he was the baby of the group. D loved playing with his cousins, especially tag. They loved running around the house.
We got there Friday afternoon. The party started Saturday evening. On Saturday morning, one of our sisters-in-law went to get in the shower, but the water wasn't heating up. She thought that maybe if she pulled the lever to start the shower, it would warm up faster. Unfortunately, the lever came off in her hand. That was an easy fix, but the water heater was also broken. They had to buy a new water heater. All afternoon A, one of his brothers, and his dad were installing the new heater.
They told us we were not allowed to use the water. I guess they figured telling us was enough, because they didn't turn the water off. Well some of us forgot that we couldn't use any water. All three of them got there showers outside. (Oops. I gave them one of those showers.) It was quite an adventure for them. It took them all evening to warm up.

Welcome to the blogging world! So good to see some pictures of the boys even if the hallways and front yards are strangely familiar. Hmmm... :-)
We are looking forward to lots more stories and pictures of your family.
