Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Grandma and Grandpa, (my parents) came down from Boise. They got here the afternoon of Christmas Eve and stayed through Christmas.

We enjoyed the boys opening their presents. D was really excited that Santa had come. A had told him that he won't leave presents if we don't leave out cookies and milk. Guess who ended up needing to do more baking on Christmas Eve.

We started a new tradition of opening pajamas on Christmas Eve. D was really excited by his transformer pj's. We couldn't get them of for two days. S has loved football since he was born, so he got football pjs.

S's pajama bottoms were way too long. He kept tripping himself, so we finally rolled them up.

The boys loved playing with their presents. They really enjoyed playing with each others more then their own. Good thing they are leaning how to share.

Santa set up a Lincoln Log structure which both boys enjoyed tearing down. Then D expected me to rebuild it. (This happened a few times).

My parents took use to the movies on Christmas Day. (I think it is an unofficial tradition in our family). We saw the new National Treasure movie. We really enjoyed it.

Wednesday my parents went to Cedar City to pick up my nephew. They came back on Thursday and D got to play with his nine year old cousin Josh. (I hope to have a picture soon). Josh is quite an active boy, and his family room is about the size of our whole apartment, so he was a little crowded. He did find one of S's new toys and played with it for quite a while. Who knew that a ball popper made for toddlers would entertain a nine year old for so long.

They left this morning, but will be back after the new year to take Josh home. It is nice to be a central location for them. We hardly ever saw them when we were in Colorado.

I'm so glad you started a blog. It's so fun to see pictures and hear updates. That stinks about your washer.
