Home Again

So D is back home now. We went to pick him up on Friday, and came back home Saturday afternoon. He had a great time. He helped Grandma make Valentine cookies. He cut out some of the hearts and helped frost them. He couldn't wait to give them to us. As soon as he saw us come in, he ran to the kitchen to get them, even before we could get a hug. He was very proud of his cookies. Guess which one he cut out.

Grandma and Grandpa let him sleep in the guest room. The guest room has a full bed. When we visit as a family, the boys sleep on the floor, and Mommy and Daddy get the bed. I guess D slept on the floor the whole time he was there. He didn't want to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

I enjoyed spending the week with S. He was very quiet. He played so well by himself. On day, I just sat in the living room reading for most of the day and S played at my feet. He was very good about letting me know when he needed something, but for the most part he was content to play by himself. He really loved having Mommy all to himself, but he really missed his big brother. Some times he would grab my finger to lead me to his brother's room. He just wanted to play where some of D's things were.
